Three stained silks are displayed by the magician, who then puts them in a box of washing soap (or just a paper bag constructed from a sheet of newspaper). He fills the detergent box with liquid and says it will be used as a magic washing machine. After a few moment, he/she removes the three immaculately clean, white silks. In order to show that there is nothing hidden inside, he/she finally opens the box and breaks it to pieces!
