Orders and Shipping:

How do I place an order?

You can either place an order via the website or by calling us on 0161 531 6650 between the hours of 9:00am and 10:00pm, 7 days a week including bank holidays.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Once an item has been despatched refunds and changes to the order are not possible, except when item is damaged or wrong product despatched (but correct item ordered by the customer).

What are the shipping rates and delivery times.

Orders are despatched Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and is next day delivery. The cost is £9.00 for orders under £40.00 and £3.00 for orders £40 and over.

Do you ship internationally?

Delivery is only available within the United Kingdom, including Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Payments and Security:

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment by debit/credit cards and BACS are accepted. With the exemption of BACS, payments are not made directly to us, instead they are paid via SumUp.

My my payment information secure?

Payments are not made directly to use, exempt when paying by BACS. Instead they are paid via Sum-Up who use a secure network and website, which has a SSL certificate. Therefore, all payments are secure.

Returns:

What is the return policy?

Once an item has been despatched refunds and changes to the order are not possible, except when item is damaged or wrong product despatched (but correct item ordered by the customer)..

How do I return an item?

Items are to be returned via an approved delivery service (i.e. Royal Mail) to a pickup point in Blackpool since owner David Baker resides there. DB Magic cannot take any responsibility for any lose or damage to items whilst with the delivery service. The customer is refunded the cost of the return within 10 working days (usually a lot sooner).

Collection:

Can I collect my order?

We are online only and collection is not possible.

Pricing:

Are you VAT registered?

No, we are VAT exempt due to our income not meeting the threshold for being required to register for VAT.

Miscellaneous:

Are you a company?

DB Magic is not a limited company, instead the business is a self employment business owned by David Baker a professional children’s magician, known professionally as Daniel Twist.

Are you registered with any bodies?

Business owner David Baker is registered with ICO under the Data Protection Act 2018 and he is a member of Equity, the trade union for people working in the entertainment industry.

How long have you been trading?

DB Magic launched in mid June 2026, but owner David Baker has been a professional children’s entertainer since 2001.He works under the professional name Daniel Twist.
