After displaying a frame to the audience, the magician tucks two silks of the same colour into two tiny holes on either end. Next, he or she inserts a balloon between the silks in the middle of the frame. Silk of a different hue is mysteriously made to disappear. The balloon is then popped by the magician using a long pin. To everyone’s amazement, the silk that had disappeared suddenly reappears tied between the silks that had previously been in the frame.
